Accumen vs Skrapp.io
Accumen and Skrapp.io both help you find email addresses, but Skrapp.io starts from a name and Accumen starts from your ideal customer. This page is written by Accumen, so we are a competitor and you should read it that way. Everything about Skrapp.io below is taken from Skrapp.io's own public website, checked on 6 October 2026. Their product and prices change, so check their site for what is current.
The short version
- Skrapp.io describes an email finder, a lead finder, data enrichment, company search, a LinkedIn email finder extension, an email verifier and an email extractor.
- Accumen starts one step earlier: it researches each company you choose, names the person who decides, proves the address and drafts the sequence from what the company has recently done. It keeps no stored contact database and does not send your emails.
- If you already know whom to contact and need the address, Skrapp.io is built for that, at a low price per lookup. If you do not yet know who to contact, or want a reason to write, Accumen is built for that.
Side by side
- Starting point: Skrapp.io describes finding valid email addresses from a name and a company. Accumen starts from your ideal customer.
- Data: Skrapp.io describes 200M+ B2B leads and 40M+ company profiles. Accumen keeps no stored contact lists; it researches each company when you search.
- Email checks: Skrapp.io states 97% email verification accuracy and a 92% average email search success rate. Accumen does not publish an accuracy percentage. It labels each address verified, inferred or not found, and exports only verified addresses as verified.
- Catch-all addresses: Skrapp.io says it charges only for emails marked valid or catch-all. Accumen treats an address on a catch-all domain as unproven, because the mail server accepts every address.
- Reason to write: Accumen finds a recent event at each company and builds a five-step sequence on it. Skrapp.io is a finder and verifier and does not describe drafting emails.
- Where you use it: Skrapp.io says it integrates natively with Salesforce, HubSpot and other CRMs, and offers a REST API. Accumen has a Chrome extension and sends contacts to Slack, Zapier, Google Sheets and other tools.
- Memory: Accumen's Vault remembers who you have already contacted.
Prices, as each publishes them
Skrapp.io prices in credits. Its pricing page on 6 October 2026 listed a free plan (50 credits), Professional at $39 a month or $29 a month billed annually (2,000 credits a month, 2 users) and Enterprise at $349 a month or $262 a month billed annually (50,000 credits a month, 15 users). It said only emails marked valid or catch-all use credits, and that credits roll over.
Accumen's published plans on 6 October 2026 were Free (25 verified contacts a month), Starter ($50 a month, 150 verified contacts), Solo ($79 a month, 250 verified contacts), Team ($199 a month, 750 verified contacts), Enterprise ($1,499 a month, 3,000 verified contacts).
A Skrapp.io credit covers an email lookup. An Accumen contact is a verified, named decision-maker at a company you chose, with research behind it. Skrapp.io is cheaper per lookup and offers far larger volumes. Accumen is priced for fewer, more carefully researched contacts.
Where Skrapp.io is the better choice
- You already have the names and need addresses, quickly and cheaply.
- You work from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator and want emails on the profile.
- You want to verify a list you already hold.
- You need large volumes, an API or single sign-on.
Where Accumen is the better choice
- You do not yet know the decision-maker at each company.
- You write to a defined set of companies and want a recent, real reason to write to each.
- You want each result labelled by how far it was checked, and a drafted sequence to start from.
- You are a founder, a small team, an agency or a professional-services firm that wants fewer, better contacts.
Can you use both?
Yes. Some teams use Accumen to find and research the person at each company, and a verifier to re-check an older list. Whatever you use, check addresses before you send and watch your bounce rate.
How to decide
- Decide whether your problem is finding the person or finding their address.
- Try both on the same ten companies and compare: was the person right, was the address proven, and was there a reason to write?
- Compare the cost per contact you would actually send to, not the cost per lookup.
- Pick the one whose results you would be comfortable sending under your own name.
