Accumen vs Lusha
Accumen and Lusha both help sales teams reach the right person, but they work differently. This page is written by Accumen, so we are a competitor and you should read it that way. Everything about Lusha below is taken from Lusha's own public website, checked on 6 October 2026. Their product, prices and figures change, so check their site for what is current.
The short version
- Lusha is a large B2B data provider: a stored database of contacts and companies with email addresses and phone numbers, a browser extension, enrichment, an API and buying signals.
- Accumen is on-demand research focused on email outreach: it researches each company you choose, names the person who decides, proves the email address and drafts the sequence from what the company has recently done. It keeps no stored contact database.
- If you need phone numbers, enrichment of existing records or very large coverage, Lusha is built for that. If you write to a defined set of companies and want each contact researched and checked now, Accumen is built for that.
Side by side
- Data: Lusha describes 515M+ verified contacts and 29M+ companies, including 165M+ emails and 117M+ direct dials. Accumen keeps no stored contact lists; it researches each company when you search.
- Accuracy: Lusha states 98% email accuracy and 86% phone accuracy across its database. Accumen does not publish an accuracy percentage. It labels every address verified, inferred or not found, and exports only verified addresses as verified.
- Signals: Lusha describes 26 buying signals refreshed weekly, such as funding, hiring surges and job changes. Accumen researches recent events at each company you search and builds the sequence on them.
- Channels: Lusha offers email and direct-dial phone numbers. Accumen is built around email outreach.
- Where you use it: Lusha describes a Chrome extension, an API, CRM integrations and automation tools. Accumen has a Chrome extension and sends contacts to Slack, Zapier, Google Sheets and other tools.
- Writing the message: Accumen drafts a five-step sequence for each company. Lusha is a data layer and does not describe drafting emails.
- Memory: Accumen's Vault remembers who you have already contacted.
Prices, as each publishes them
The two use different units, so compare them with care. Lusha prices in credits. Its published plans on 6 October 2026 were Free (up to 40 credits a month), Starter ($49.90 a month, or $37.45 billed annually, 400 credits a month), Professional ($69.90, or $52.45 annually, 600 credits) and Premium ($399.90, or $299.95 annually, 3,400 credits). Lusha states that revealing a verified email costs 1 credit and revealing a phone number costs 5 credits.
Accumen's published plans on 6 October 2026 were Free (25 verified contacts a month), Starter ($50 a month, 150 verified contacts), Solo ($79 a month, 250 verified contacts), Team ($199 a month, 750 verified contacts), Enterprise ($1,499 a month, 3,000 verified contacts).
A Lusha credit reveals a contact detail for a person you found in its database. An Accumen contact is a verified, named decision-maker at a company you chose, with research behind it. Lusha publishes larger allowances at lower prices per reveal. Accumen is priced for fewer, more carefully researched contacts.
Where Lusha is the better choice
- You need direct-dial phone numbers as well as email.
- You want to enrich the records you already hold in a CRM.
- You need a very large database to search by role, company and location.
- You need an API or automation connections, or a vendor with the security certifications Lusha lists on its site.
Where Accumen is the better choice
- Your outreach is by email to a defined set of companies, in the hundreds.
- You want each contact researched and checked when you ask, with a label for how far it was checked.
- You want a recent, real reason to write to each company, and a drafted sequence built on it.
- You are a founder, a small team, an agency or a professional-services firm that wants fewer, better contacts.
Can you use both?
Yes. A team that needs phone numbers for some contacts can use a data provider for those and Accumen to research and prove the people it chooses to email. Whatever you use, check addresses before you send and watch your bounce rate.
How to decide
- Decide whether you need phone numbers, or whether email is enough.
- Try both on the same ten companies and compare: was the person right, was the address proven, and was there a reason to write?
- Compare the cost per contact you would actually send to, not the cost per reveal.
- Check each vendor's own security and compliance documents against your requirements.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Accumen and Lusha?
Lusha is a large stored database of B2B contacts with emails and phone numbers, an extension, an API and buying signals. Does Accumen provide phone numbers?
Accumen is built around email outreach. If you need direct-dial phone numbers, a provider that sells them, such as Lusha, is the better fit.
